And… the Siouxland SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition will now be a 2 day conference!!! A pre-conference will be offered on Thursday, August 15th and a full day conference Friday, August 16th. Please watch the website and your email for ALL the details and schedule of speakers coming SOON!!

This program defines problem gambling and describes the warning signs of problem gambling in the community of the workplace. The program includes proactive efforts to reduce the negative impact problem gambling has in the workplace.
Gambling addiction affects approximately one percent of the U.S. population. However...

Introduced for 2010 by SHRM, the recognition component of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE) is the Excel Awards. Awards may be earned at four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each level builds on a prescribed set of requirements and accomplishments. The Siouxland Chapter was awarded the Gold Award by SHRM for 2010.
In 2010, Iowa SHRM State Council presented Siouxland SHRM with the "Best Practices of the Year Award".
